My vision is to find a 'mortal'
beauty in what can loosely be described as homemade, low-tech
'apocalyptic' processes. I create and inhabit microcosmic worlds
attempting to form meaning in the world around me.
The work disrupts traditional perceptions of landscape and calls to question our relationship with te romantic image. Rather than attempting to illustrate a particular landscape it proposes merely a hint or indication of landscape, constantly crossing the boundaries between the existing world and the creation of a new one, between the imaginary and the actual, and between the real and the possible.
