Helene Kazan

Born in Beirut, Lebanon. Works and lives in London

Helene Kazan was trained at the Wimbledon School of Arts, which she finished with a BA Fine Art and Painting. She writes about herself: "My work focuses on the effect that structures or buildings have on an individual, its community and therefore its culture. In this body of work I began the process with a drawing that later forms the blue print for three dimensional structure or installation. Using the qualities of the materials, like tracing paper, pencil and glass for layering."

For Run Rabbit Run, 2007, she produced an ambitious live rabbit run, which merges her talents as artists and architect.
