Hard Frank was born in Berlin in 1954. He studied American History and Theatre, but rather made his living from working as a teacher. This gave him time to follow his vocation to paint.

Other artistic activities: he directed 7 movies and created fashion. As a photographer and journalist he gained further artistic experience.

He likes to travel. This increases his horizon. In a recent book "Persona non Grata" he reflects on his life experience and the reception as a "foreigner" in other countries. countries.
