The Retrospective A-4 Series of original drawings produced with felt-pen markers and coloured pencils on paper, then have be laminated and mounted on 10mm card-board with a plastic red frame.

This dynamic series represented a visual and emotional "diary" which was begun in 1985 and continues to this day. At this time a total of about 200 have been mounted for sale. The term A-4 represents the size of the works which are produced in a standard paper size known as A-4 (21cm x 30cm).

Another purpose of the Retrospective is for Noir to express ideas and emotions in varying stylistic forms that is not resticted to any style.

Subject matter for this series ranges from "Every day I brush my teeth" to the traumatic disaster of the Tschernobyl. Often several members of the Retrospective can be seen as a series within themselfs. Some of the works may contain a phlisphocal message or a touch of humor Noir.

Each drawing is signed by Noir, with most works having the title included with the imagry or on the back (some titles are quite long, as Noir would say "Sometimes the titel is more inportant than the drawing.".)
